Types of Steering Racks
Manual Steering Racks

Hydraulic Steering Racks

How We Control Steering Racks Quality?
Performance Test
The total number of turns, stroke, no-load torque and free clearance of the steering gear should meet the design requirements.
Function Test
During the process of turning the input end, it feels smooth, no stagnation phenomenon, and the steering control valve can return to the position automatically.
Steering force characteristic test
The steering torque at maximum working pressure shall meet the design requirements.
The force characteristic curve shall meet the design requirements, and the symmetry of the curve shall be ≥90%.
Internal leakage test
The internal leakage shall not exceed 15% of the test flow.
External leakage check
During the test, no oil seepage is allowed in any part of the assembly.
Return capability test
Under the specified test load, the time for the input end to return to the middle position from the two limit positions shall not be more than 3s for rack and pinion steering assembly.
Steering sensitivity characteristic test
The turning angle at maximum working pressure shall meet the design requirements.
The characteristic curve shall meet the design requirements, and the symmetry of the curve shall be ≥90%.
